Have you ever wanted to feed your dog an orange, but wasn’t sure if it was good for them? Well, it is good for them! You just have to make sure that you either cut up and peel away the outer skin of the orange, and most importantly, remove the seeds.
The truth is, dogs are omnivores, and that means fruit is perfectly fine for them to eat. There are a few exceptions, like grapes, but most other fruits are fine for dogs to eat, as long as you don’t over feed them. Oranges are also great for dogs because they are an excellent source of vitamin C, B12 and many more.
If there was anything to be cautious about feeding your dog oranges, it would be the high level of citric acidity that is in the oranges. Too many oranges an a dog might have diarrhea. Other than that, oranges are perfectly safe for you and your dog to share!
